Terms of service

1. Definitions


  • Company: ROADMAPHERO SAS, registered office at 58 rue de Monceau, 75008 Paris, France.

  • Software: the RoadmapHero SaaS platform.

  • Service: access to and use of the Software.

  • Website: roadmaphero.com.

  • Customer: any professional user of the Service.

  • Agreement: these Terms & Conditions together with the online subscription made by the Customer.


2. Service Provider


2.1. The Service is provided by the Company.

2.2. The Company uses reasonable efforts to deliver a quality Service.

2.3. When the Company hosts Customer data, it does not guarantee any specific level of availability, backup, or restoration.

3. Acceptance and Subscription


3.1. Subscription to the Service is completed exclusively online through the Website or the Software interface.

3.2. Validation of the subscription and payment constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

3.3. The Agreement becomes effective upon the Company’s confirmation of subscription.

4. Intellectual Property


4.1. For the duration of the Agreement, the Customer is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable license to use the Software, limited to the subscribed features.

4.2. The Customer shall not:

  • modify, copy or reproduce the Software outside of its normal use;

  • create derivative works;

  • attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or extract the source code;

  • transfer, assign or sublicense any rights relating to the Software.

4.3. All elements made available by the Company are protected by intellectual property rights. Any unauthorized use is prohibited.

6. Payment and Invoicing


6.1. An invoice is issued for each billing period. The Customer must pay it no later than seven (7) days after issuance.

6.2. Payment is made by credit card through the Company’s payment provider, or via any other method offered on the Website.

6.3. Payments are automatically charged at each renewal.

6.4. In case of payment failure, several automatic attempts are made over a maximum period of seven (7) days.

6.5. If payment remains unsuccessful after this period, access to the Service will be automatically suspended.

6.6. The Company never stores credit card details.

5. Pricing


5.1. The applicable price is the one displayed on the Website at the time of subscription. Prices are expressed in euros (EUR) and exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

5.2. Any pricing information found elsewhere (emails, documents, marketing material) is for indicative purposes only.
Only the prices displayed on the Website at the time of subscription and those visible in the Customer’s account are binding.

5.3. After subscription, the applicable prices are those displayed in the Customer’s account.

5.4. The Company may offer temporary discounts or promotions, applicable only for the specified period.

5.5. The Company may amend its pricing with prior notice. Unless otherwise stated, new prices apply on the first day of the second month following notification. The Customer may refuse the change, which results in termination of the Agreement on that date.



7. Limitation of Liability


7.1. The Company provides no warranties other than those expressly set out in the Agreement.

7.2. The Company may only be held liable in the event of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

7.3. The Company shall not be liable for any indirect damages (including loss of revenue, profit, data, reputation, opportunities, etc.).

7.4. The Company’s total liability is strictly limited to the amount paid by the Customer during the previous twelve (12) months.

7.5. The Customer uses the Service under their sole responsibility.

8. Term and Termination


8.1. The Agreement is entered into for an indefinite term starting from subscription.

8.2. The Customer may terminate their subscription at any time:

8.3. Termination becomes effective at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for periods already paid.

8.4. The Company may terminate the Agreement with one month’s notice, unless the Customer commits a serious breach.

9. No Right of Withdrawal


As the Customer is a professional and the Service is accessible immediately after payment, no withdrawal right applies.

10. Account Management, Access and Security


The Customer agrees to:

  • keep login credentials confidential;

  • secure access to their account;

  • manage their users internally;

  • notify the Company in case of suspected breach;

  • not circumvent or interfere with the Service’s security measures.

Any action performed through the Customer's account is deemed to be performed by the Customer.

11. Data Retention and Deletion


11.1. Customer data is retained for up to three (3) years after termination of the Agreement, unless required earlier by law.

11.2. The Customer may request data deletion at any time by contacting hello@roadmaphero.com.

11.3. Requests are processed within a maximum period of one (1) month.

12. Data Security


12.1. The Company implements technical and organizational measures to protect Customer data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or accidental disclosure. These measures include:

  • hosting on secure cloud infrastructure,

  • encryption of data in transit via TLS,

  • strict access controls for authorized personnel,

  • logging of essential security events,

  • regular updates and security patches,

  • backups enabling recovery in case of major incident.

12.2. In case of a security incident affecting personal data, the Company will inform the Customer within the legally required timeframe.

12.3. The Customer remains responsible for securing their own IT environment.

12.4. The Customer shall not introduce files, scripts or tools that could affect the proper functioning or security of the Service.

13. Data Ownership and Retrieval


13.1. The Customer remains the sole owner of all data entered, imported or generated via the Service.

13.2. The Company acquires no rights over these data beyond what is strictly necessary to operate the Service.

13.3. The Customer may retrieve their data at any time, upon simple request to hello@roadmaphero.com.

13.4. As there is no automatic export feature, the Company will provide the data in a standard, readable and reusable format (such as .csv or equivalent).

13.5. Requests for export or deletion are processed within a maximum of one (1) month.

14. Service Availability and Maintenance


14.1. The Company strives to keep the Service accessible but provides no guaranteed availability (SLA) in the standard version.

14.2. The Service may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance, updates or technical operations.

14.3. Interruptions caused by third parties (hosting provider, networks, other service providers) or force majeure do not engage the Company’s liability.

15. Acceptable Use and Restrictions


The Customer shall not:

  • perform automated or massive extraction (scraping),

  • deliberately overload the Service,

  • attempt unauthorized intrusion or security testing,

  • bypass technical restrictions.

The Company may suspend access immediately in case of non-compliant use.

16. Service Evolution


The Company may modify, improve or remove certain features of the Service at any time.
Significant changes will be communicated to the Customer with reasonable prior notice.

17. Amendments to the Terms & Conditions


Any amendment is notified to the Customer.
Unless otherwise stated, changes take effect on the first day of the second month following notification.
If the Customer refuses the new Terms, the Agreement is automatically terminated on that date.

18. Communications


All communications between the parties are validly made by email, using the addresses associated with the use of the Service.

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction


These Terms & Conditions are governed by French law.
Any dispute shall be brought before the courts of Paris, unless mandatory provisions provide otherwise.
